Introudction of CT Twin Check Valve
The 2 7/8" twin flapper check valves are the standard component of the coiled tubing string. The twin flapper check is the tool in coiled tubing string to preventing the back flow of well fluids into the coiled tubing of well in the oilfield CT operation, once damage of the coiled tubing string or surface equipment happens.
The design of twin flapper check valve features with dual sealing system, which improve the reliable of the sealing, and there are two types sealing material : the elastomeric seal is mainly for the low pressure sealing and the metal sealing is for the high pressure sealing during the coiled tubing operation. Maximum flow area through the flapper cartridges reduces unnecessary back pressure on the surface pumps.
