Halliburton Type RTTS Packer
The RTTS Packer is a full bore retrievable packer used for oil and gas well testing, treating, and squeeze cementing operations. The RTTS packer is the hookwall type packer which can segregate bidirectional pressure designed. The design of full bore permits pumping large volumes of fluid with a minimum pressure drop, and allows the passage of a through tubing type perforating gun.
The RTTS packer is composed by a J-slot mechanism, mechanical slips, packing element, and hydraulic slips. Large, The packer is equipped with the drag block, which helps make the tool usable for multiple operations with one trip in the hole-such as perforate, test, treat, squeeze, perforate, etc. Generally, the RTTS packer is operated with circulating valve assembly and a safety joint.
